Phil: Paragraph 4- Meditation

So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.
Suggested Time:
Lectio- (word) 10 minutes
Meditatio- (emotion) 5 minutes
Oratio- (application) 10 minutes
Contemplatio- (stillness) 5 minutes

Lectio: feelings
Meditatio: I let the way I am feeling effect my love towards others. I shouldn’t let this effect my emotions but it just does.I need to love everyone one no matter what mood I am in.
Oratio: God help me learn to love others as you do. Please help me with my feelings towards others. I know I need help in being nice to people I don’t love, so help me in that area and many other areas too.
